What is Calcined Petroleum Coke (CPC)?
Origin:Calcined petroleum coke is a product derived from petroleum coke (sometimes called “green coke”), which is a solid byproduct of oil refining processes.
Calcination Process: Raw petroleum coke undergoes a process called calcination in rotary kilns where it is heated to extremely high temperatures (around 1200-1350°C / 2192-2460°F).
